Jonathan C. Gabries, 23, passed away June 3, 2013 at his home. Born in Chester, Pa, he has been a resident of Glen Mills, Pa, and was a graduate of Rustin High School, West Chester, Pa. He worked for Andrews Lawn and Landscaping. He loved animals; especially his dog Sadie. He also loved mountain biking, snowboarding, paintball, crabbing, and fishing.
He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather Charles Shaw and his paternal grandparents Agnes and John Gabries.
He is survived by his parents Richard and Shelley Gabries; maternal grandmother Marilyn Shaw; siblings Andrew and Samantha Gabries.
Memorial service Friday 11am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Friday 9:30-11am at the funeral home. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Delaware County SPCA, 555 Sandy Bank Rd., Media, Pa, 19063 or the Chester County SPCA, 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, Pa, 19380.
