Julio Solis, 45, passed away December 13, 2010 at his home.
Born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico he was raised in New York. He has resided in Brookhaven, Pa, since 1989.
He worked at Aronimink Golf Club as a chef since 1991.
He is the son of Rosa Ortiz of Bronx, NY, and Hector Solis of Puerto Rico; beloved father of Franklyn Medina of Philadelphia, Alexander Solis of Philadelphia, Melissa Solis of Brookhaven, Pa, and Cynthia Solis of Wallingford, Pa; brother of Hector Solis, Edwin Solis, Orlando Castillo, Rosa Solis, and Joanna Castillo; grandfather of Halayjah Solis- Morgan, Franklyn Medina Jr., and Haniyyah Solis-Morgan; also survived by his grandparents.
Funeral service Friday 12pm at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015.
Visitation Friday 9am-12pm at the funeral home.
Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston, Pa, 19014.
