Michalina Helen “Mickey” Lesiuk (nee Baiba), 94,
passed away November 21, 2008 at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pa.
Born in Chester, Pa, she lived in Aston for many years before moving to Bradenton, Fl in 1980.
In recent years she lived both in Florida and Parkside, Pa, with her daughter. She was a spinner at the Irving Mill in Wallingford, Pa, and later worked in the cafeteria at Sun Valley and Northley schools. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Bradenton, Fl, and Manatee County Knitters and Crocheters Guild. She was also a life member of Parkside Seniors and Ladies Auxillary Penn Forest 21 Tall Cedars of Lebanon. She loved to dance and danced at summer concerts in Marcus Hook over the years. She loved her home, traveling, animals, and her pets, Baby and Miss Puss.
She was the wife of the late Peter Lesiuk who passed away in 1986 and the mother of the late Peter Lesiuk Jr. who passed away in 1990. She was the loving mother of Rosalie Maslin of Parkside, Pa. She was the great grand mother of Wendy (Chris) and the great great grandmother of Christopher and Samantha, all of Newark, De. She was also survived by nieces and nephews and her adopted family, Marge and Lee Coulter of Bradenton, Fl.
Funeral service will be held Saturday 12 noon at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015.
Friends may call Saturday 11-12 at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Donations can be made to the Humane Society, 14th St., Bradenton, Fl, 34205
