Irene Mae McBride March 6, 1917 - November 20, 2016

Irene Mae McBride (nee Bell), 99, passed away November 20, 2016 at Pembrooke Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a longtime resident of Brookhaven, Pa, and spent 11 years living in Florida. Irene was passionate about line dancing and belonged to the Redwood Community Club. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Paul J. McBride, Sr.; her son Paul J. McBride, Jr. “Bud”; and her sister Bernice Landsborough (nee Bell).

She is survived by her son Robert McBride (Karen Verriest); 5 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral service Wednesday 10:30am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Wednesday 9:30-10:30am at the funeral home. Interment Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, Pa. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital (www.stjude.org), 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
