Michelle E. Hughes June 11, 1950 - March 13, 2012

Michelle E. Hughes, 61, of Brookhaven, PA, passed away March 13, 2012, at Jefferson Hospital. She formerly resided in East Lansdowne and Philadelphia. A graduate of W. Catholic Girls High School, she was a career-long employee at Verizon until her retirement and worked part-time at Lee Dental in Springfield. She was a member of the Verizon Telecom Pioneers and the Red Hat Society. She was the daughter of the late Martha and Michael Hughes. She is survived by her brother Joseph (Elizabeth) Hughes of Havertown, Pa; her niece Mem Tesin; great nephew A.J. Tesin. Memorial service Thursday 11am at St. George’s Episcopal Church, 1 West Ardmore Ave., Ardmore, Pa, 19003. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Elephant Sanctuary, 97 E. Main St., Hohewald, TN, 38462.
