Marie Teresa (Bloemker) Barber, 93, passed away January 2, 2018. Born and raised in Philadelphia she went on to spend the majority of her life in Lansdowne, PA, while also living in Upper Darby, PA., Whiting, N.J. and Downingtown, PA. (Ashbridge Manor). before moving to Fair Acres Geriatric Center, Lima, PA. in 2015. She was a graduate of John W. Hallahan Catholic High School, class of 1942. Marie was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and was stationed in Pensacola, FL, during WWII. She was predeceased by her husband Worth L. Barber; her children William F. Barber and Patricia M. Barber Binko; and her brother Charles Bloemker.
She is survived by her children Diane Barber Roberts (Jeff), Michael C. Barber; her sister Catherine Lyons; her grandchildren Matthew Binko (Darlene), Benjamin Binko (Nikki), Nicole Barber, Michelle Barber; her great grandson Chase Matthew Binko and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass Monday 10am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA, 19015.
