Marion S. Whittington September 18, 1927 - November 7, 2006

Marion S. Whittington, 79, passed away November 7, 2006 at Sterling Nursing Home, Media, Pa. She was a life long resident of Delaware County and resided in Brookhaven, Pa, for the past 48 years. She was a graduate of Nether Providence High School. She was a teller supervisor for Bell Telephones for over 20 years and was a crossing guard for Parkside Elementary and Our Lady of Charity Curch School. She was a member of Faith Community Church, Brookhaven, Pa. She was the daughter fo the late James and Janne Sisk. She was the loving and devoted wife of Al Whiitington of Brookhaven. Mother of Alfred Whittington Jr. of Bonita Springs, FL, and Mark Kevin Whittington of Aston, Pa. She was the grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 5. Funeral service will be held Saturday 11 am at the the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Friends may call 9am-11am at the funeral home.
