Clayton A. Carroll Jr. age 89 of Brookhaven, Pa. died Sept. 19, 2011 at his home. Born in Wilmingtion, Delaware, he was a resident of Brookhaven, Pa. since 1952. Employed with Western Union before working for the Penna. Railroad (Conrail) retiring in 1984. Member of Brotherhood Railroad Trainmen, also UTU United Trainmen Union. Member of the Polish American Club in Chester, Pa.,Boy Scout troop leader for 30 years, and Scout Master for 15 years in Brookhaven, American Legion Post 926 Green Ridge, Pa., West End Boat Club. Son of the late Clayton Sr. and Eleanor Carroll. Married to his late wife of 66 years Emily Genevieve Doyle Carroll. Devoted father of Clayton A.(Connie) Carroll III, Michael (June) Carroll, Jeffery (Frances) Carroll,Genevieve (late Carlton) George, Nancy (Joseph) McQuiston. Brother of James Carroll, Eleanor Nealey, Audrey Blossic, Marjorie Kicak, Lorraine Flemming, Margaret McConnell. Grandfather of 12, great grandfather of 13.
