Emma M. Cowan June 17, 1922 - November 29, 2008

Emma M. Cowan, 86, passed away November 29, 2008 at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pa. She has been a resident of Parkside, Pa, for the past 38 years and has been a life long resident of Delaware County. She was a graduate of Chester High School. She was a Parkside Elementary School Crossing Guard for 10 years. She was the wife of the late George W. Cowan who passed away in 1989. She was the mother of Bill Cowan of Parkside, Pa, George Cowan of Philadelphia, Pa, Joe Cowan of Coccoa Beach, Fl, and Corene Shambuln of Elton, Md. She was the grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 8. Funeral service private. Donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA, 22312.
