Francis H. Burke August 8, 1925 - June 22, 2008

Francis H. Burke, 82, passed away June 22, 2008 at his home.

Born in Northfield, NJ, he was a

resident of Springfield, Pa, since 1955 and prior to that lived in Morton, Pa. He graduated from Upper Darby High School and attended Penn State in the Mt. Alto campus. He was retired from Westinghouse as a transportation foreman in 1981. He helped found Atglen, belonged to Southern Chester County Sportsmen Association and the First Pennsylvania Regimen. Loved hunting, fishing, camping, reading, and cats. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps. He was the husband of the late Edna Hobson Burke and the father of the late Buckley Burke.

He was the loving father of Llewelyn “Mote” Burke of Drexel Hill, Pa, Westley Burke of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Nancy Burke of Springfield, Pa, and

Diane Burke of Springfield, Pa.
