Marilyn C. Shaw December 23, 1925 - June 1, 2014

Marilyn C. Shaw, 88, passed away June 1, 2014 at her home. Born in Media, Pa, she has been a long time resident of Brookhaven, Pa. She graduated from Media High School and was a sales associate at Strawbridge and Clothier in Springfield until her retirement. She loved to cruise, shop, and was an avid walker. She loved being surrounded by her family and was a devoted Nanny to her 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 46 years Charles; her parents Helen and Sheldon Cochran; sister Nancy Gill; grandson Jonathan Gabries.

She is survived by her children Jeff Shaw (Lisa), Steven Shaw (Michele), Carolynn Yarnell (Dennis), and Shelley Gabries (Richard); 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.

Memorial service Thursday 11am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Thursday 10-11am at the funeral home. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Crozer Keystone Hospice, 5030 State Rd., Suite 3001, Drexel Hill, Pa, 19026.
