Helen P. Albrand, 84, passed away November 18, 2010 at Wallingford Nursing Home, Wallingford, Pa.
Born in Wilburton, Pa, she lived the majority of her life in Upland, Pa. She has been a resident of Wallingford, Pa, for the past 6 years.
She went to school in Mt. Carmel, Pa.
She was a counselor for Elwyn Institute, Middletown Twp., for 25 years before her retirement.
She loved spending time with her family.
She was the wife of the late James R. Albrand, whom she was married to for 44 years before his passing in 1987.
She was the daughter of the late Helen and Michael Herko.
She was predeceased by seven brothers.
She was the mother of James M. (Linda) Albrand of Lewes, De, John S. (Sandy) Albrand of Greensburg, Indiana, and Ronald T. (Kathy) Albrand of Goodyear, AZ. She was the loving grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 16.
Funeral service Tuesday 10:30am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015.
Visitation Tuesday 9:00-10:30am at the funeral home.
Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa.
