Iona Worrell March 18, 1925 - August 20, 2006

Iona Field Worrell, 81, passed away August 20, 2006 at her home. Born in Media, Pa, she was a resident of Concord Township for 56 years. She was a graduate of Nether Providence High School and Pierce Business School. She was a homemaker and also worked for Snowdens in Media, Pa. She was a member of Packard Memorial United Methodist Church. She was the wife of the late Harvey C. Worrell for 44 years until his death in 1989. She was the mother of Gerald (Rev. Susan) Worrell of West Chester, Pa, and Virginia L. Worrell of Glen Mills, Pa. She was the sister of Ernest Field of Arizona, Rev. William Field of Florida, Joseph Field of Maryland, Anna Keiser of Florida, and Ruth Getz of Florida. She was the grandmother of 3 and greatgrandmother of 7. Funeral service will be held Wednesday 11 am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Friends may call Wednesday 10 am- 11 am at the funeral home. Interment Siloam Methodist Church Cemetery, Bethel Twp., Pa. Donations can be made to the Packard Memorial United Methodist Church, 623 Manchester Ave., Pa, 19063.
