Alice R. Carroll September 30, 1919 - March 12, 2015

Alice R. Carroll, 95, passed away March 12, 2015 at Brinton Manor, Glen Mills, Pa. Born in Chester, Pa, she was a long time resident of Brookhaven before moving to Brinton Manor 6 years ago. She was a graduate of Chester High School and worked as an accountant for Miley and Brown and also Warrington Motors until her retirement. She was a founding member of Our Lady of Charity where she was very active. Above all else Alice was the true matriarch of her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Walter J. Carroll, Jr. and her siblings Joseph, Edward, Lawrence, John, and Mary Ryan.

She is survived by her children Michael J. Carroll (Donna), William W. Carroll, Nancy Frank (Peter), and Susan Moses (Bill); 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral mass will be held Friday 10:30am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Friday 9:30-10:30am at the church. Interment SS Peter and Paul, Springfield, Pa, 19064. Arrangements by the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, Brookhaven, Pa.
