Mary Skulski, 97, passed away peacefully January 9, 2015. Born and raised in Chester, Pa, she has been a resident of Brookhaven, Pa, since 1947. Mary helped run their family business, Skulski and Sons Electric, with her husband and three sons in previous years. She was an active member of Our Lady of Charity Parish. She had also belonged to The Century Club, Republican Club, and Brookhaven Women’s Club. She was the true matriarch of the family and an extremely devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her family. Mary was a very caring and loving person and made everyone she met feel special. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Sr.
She is survived by her 3 sons Joseph (Mary) Skulski, Jr., John (Kris) Skulski, Jim (Ann) Skulski; her brother Stanley Pitner; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass Tuesday 10:30am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Monday evening 7-9pm at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015 and also Tuesday morning 9:30-10:30am at the church. Interment Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Linwood, Pa.
