Thomas J. Hickey Jr., 94,

passed away September 21, 2007 at Christiana Hospital, Newark, De.

Born in Chester, Pa, he was a current resident of Upland , Pa, for 52 years.

Prior to that he resided in Parkside, Pa, but he was a life long resident of Delaware County, Pa. He retired in 1978 as a welder for Westinghouse in Essington. He also worked for General Steel for 18 years out of Eddystone, Pa. He was a member of Our Lady of Charity Church, Brookhaven, Pa, and the Parkside Fire Company. He was the husband of the late Ethel Hickey and the father of William F. Hickey of Wilmington, De, and Thomas J. Hickey III of Philadelphia, Pa.

He was the brother of the late Margaret, Marie, Joseph, and Francis Hickey. He was the grandfather of 4 and had 9

Great Grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Friday 10 am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Friends may call Thursday evening 7-9 at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015 and also 8:30am-9:30 am Friday morning at the funeral home.
