passed away June 19, 2010 at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pa. He was born in Watertown, NY, and has been a longtime resident of Chester, Pa.
He was a truck driver for Eureka Furniture where he retired after many years of service.
He was a civil war buff and loved baseball, football, and hockey.
He was a United States Army veteran.
He was predeceased by his father Rev. Robert G. Walter Sr. and his wife Virginia Walter. He is survived by his mother Jeanette Walter of Chester, Pa.
He was the loving father of Robert H. Walter of Philadelphia, Pa, Brenda Walter of Chester, Pa, and Amy Schropshier of Chester, Pa
He was the brother of David Walter of Maine.
He was the proud grandfather of 8.
All funeral services will be private.
