William Stravinsky, Sr., 96, passed away peacefully August 1, 2019. Born in William Penn, he was raised in Shenandoah and most recently lived in Springfield, PA. Bill was a US Army veteran of WWII who served over seas and was a part of the Battle of the Bulge. He was an active member of the American Legion, Post 227. He was a career long employee of Westinghouse and was also a school bus driver for the Springfield School District for many years. He was a musical man, playing both the organ and the violin. Bill was predeceased by his wife Mary Stravinsky and his companion Lynne Ramsey. He is survived by his son William Stravinsky, Jr. Services will be determined at a later date.
