Melinda E. Assini May 5, 1980 - June 3, 2015

Melinda E. Assini, 35, passed away June 3, 2015. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she moved to Brookhaven, Pa, in 1997 and graduated from Sun Valley High School in 1999. She was an employee of Genesis Health Care. Melinda was a loving and devoted mother and loved with her whole heart.
She is survived by her loving parents Tracy Sands (John Fraunhoffer) and Sam Assini; her beloved daughter Mackenzie Robinson; her siblings Theresa Assini, Jennifer Lamb, Sam Assini II, Richard Lamb, and Jill Fraunhoffer.
Funeral service Saturday 11am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation 9am-11am at the funeral home. Burial private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (https://www.nami.org) (1-888-999-NAMI).
