Jonathan R. Bare, 84, passed away March 27, 2009 at Belvedere Nursing Home, Chester, Pa.

Born in Roxborough, Pa, he was a

resident of Chester, Pa, for 50 years. He was a chef at Lintons in Chester, Pa. He was the husband of the late Margaret Crawford Bare for 41 years. He was the father of the late Michelle Strickland.

He was the grandfather of Kristopher Townsend of Claymont, De who cared for him.

He was the brother of Harry Bare of Smithville, Pa, and Dorothy Moses of Pottstown, Pa.

He was the great grandfather of Abigale Townsend.

Funeral service private.

Interment is private at Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, Pa.
