Richard “Rick” C. Bernardo, Sr., passed away on May 26, 2017, peacefully surrounded by family. Rick was a graduate of Northeast High School, class of 1974, and has lived in Middletown Township for the last 30 years. He was an avid Eagles fan and enjoyed spending time with his beloved family. He was predeceased by his parents, Gloria and William Bernardo, and his brother, William Bernardo, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Marilyn Salla Bernardo; his sons, Richard Jr., Michael, and Joseph Bernardo; his siblings, Robert (Debra) Bernardo and Michelle (David) DeWeese; and his granddaughter, Emilia Bosak.
Memorial Mass will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m. at Nativity BVM Church, 30 East Franklin St., Media, PA, 19063. Visitation Friday 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Church. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Eagles Charitable Foundation, NovaCare Complex, One NovaCare Way, Philadelphia, PA 19145.
