Alice L. Spanier, age 92 of Walligford, Pa. Died Sept. 18, 2011 at the Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pa. She was a resident of Wallingford, Pa. for over 30 years. Graduate of Chester High School. Employed as a beautician at (Nan’s) and several shops in the Chester area. She also was a Packer at Scott Paper for 3 years. Daughter to the late Pearl and Wasel Lapchuk, sister to the late Eleanor Morris. Wife to the late John P. Spanier of 59 years. Sister to Peter Lapchuk of Lima, Pa. and Helen Patterson of Florida. Sister in law to Joan Raftovich of Lancaster, Pa. and Joseph Spanier of Harrisburg, Pa. Loving Aunt of several nieces and nephews. Funeral service Friday 11:00 a.m. at the Bateman Funeral HOme 4220 Edgmont Ave. Brookhaven, Pa. 19015. Interment Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Linwood, Pa.
