Anthony Chivalette January 30, 1924 - February 7, 2009

Anthony Chivalette, 85, February 7, 2009 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center, Lima, Pa. Born in Woodlyn, Pa, he was a resident of the Garden City section of Wallingford, Pa, since 1946. He was the former district manager for Home Life Insurance where he retired after 30 years of service. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed many of the Tri-State courses. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Milmont, Pa. He was a very loving and devoted father and grandfather and was very proud of his great grandchild. He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served during WWII. He served in both European and Pacific theatres of operation. He also served in Japanese Army of occupation in Nogoya. He was the husband of the late Ruth Chivalette. He was the son of the late Theodore and Carmela Chivalette.

He was the loving father of Bob (Barbara) Chivalette of Garnet Valley, Pa, who cared for him, the devoted grandfather of Alison and Brian (Kara)Chivalette, and the very proud great grandfather of Aidan Chivalette. Funeral service Friday 11am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Friends may call Friday 10-11am at the funeral home.
