Calvin C. Shull
Calvin “Cal” Carl Shull, 78, passed away September 30, 2017 at Belvedere Nursing Home. Born in Chester he resided in Aston, PA, before moving to Belvedere 3 years ago. He attended Dewey Mann Grade School, Eddystone High School, and then went on to serve in the Air Force. During his time in the Air Force he proudly served as a Military Police Officer. After serving his country, he went on to be part owner of the Family Candy Store. He then worked for Delaware County Court House and eventually worked for Penn Delco School District where he retired. Cal enjoyed to dance, bowl, and loved being around people laughing and having a good time. He was very proud of being a 50 year member of Parkside Methodist Church, which he was a member until it closed.
He is survived by his children Jeff (Cathy) Shull and Melinda Gillies; his brothers Michael and Thomas Shull; and his 6 grandchildren Connor, Cameron, Liam, Alyson, Lauren, and Katherine.
Funeral service Thursday 11at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, PA, 19015. Visitation Thursday 10-11am at the funeral home. Burial private. Online condolences can be sent via www.batemanallenfuneralhome.com
