Catherine Milioto, 97, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in Vero Beach, Fl. Born April 4, 1916, she was a long time resident of Brookhaven, Pa. She was currently residing in Vero Beach, Fl. She graduated from Trenton High School, Trenton, NJ. She owned and operated Joe’s Market on Kerlin St. in Chester, Pa. She also managed the Boy Scout Dept. of Spear Bros. She was a member of the Blessed Mother’s Sodilaty (St. Anthony’s), the Christopher Columbus Memorial Association, and was an original member of Our Lady of Charity Senior Citizens. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph C. Milioto for 38 years before his passing; her parents Maria and Sebastiano Tasco; her sisters Pauline Raimondo and Mary Cope.
She is survived by her daughters Mary Ann (Joe) DelVescovo and Carolyn (Ralph) LaSpina; her grandchildren Sheri (Bob) Hoffman, Ralph (Meg) LaSpina Jr., Joseph H. DelVescovo; great grandchildren Joseph DelVescovo, Catherine (Bruce) Snyder, Meaghan Conroy, Anthony LaSpina, Christina DelVescovo, Lindsay Hoffman, Krista LaSpina; great-great grandchild Adriana D’ALesandro.
Funeral service Monday May 6, 2013 10:30am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Monday 9:30-10:30at the church. Interment Immaculate Heart of Mary, Linwood, Pa, 19061.
