passed away August 28, 2009 at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media, Pa. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, she was currently a resident of Chaddsford, Pa.

She graduated high school from the West Nottingham Academy, Md. She was a great mother and a good friend. She was the wife of Chris Smith of Chaddsford, Pa, for the past 17 years. She was the daughter of Larry (Sophie) Stevens, Virginia Beach, Va and Sally (Chuck) Jernigan, Four Oaks, NC. She was the mother of

Phoebe Smith, Chaddsford, Pa, and the sister of Amy Stevens, Fuguay-Darina, NC.

Funeral service Tuesday 11am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Friends may call Tuesday 9am-11am at the funeral home.

Interment private.
