David E. Hill
David E. Hill Jr., 61, of Aston, Pa, died suddenly on Sunday morning, January 21st at Crozer Hospital, Chester, Pa. He was born in Pennsylvania, raised in Delaware County and resided in Claymont, De for more then 40 years before moving to Aston, Pa. Dave served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam era. He volunteered as a Boy Scout leader for handicapped boys and was a member of the Armstrong Lodge of Newport, De. He especially enjoyed home remodeling , woodworking, and spending time with his family. Dave was currently employed as a Materials Handler at Kimberly Clark in Chester. Prior to that he was a Realto with Century 21, The Real Estate Store in Boothwyn and retired from a long career with Lanier Corp. Dave was preceded in death by his father , David E. Hill, Sr. and leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Anna Hill of Wilmington, De. He was the father of Dee (Emmet) Kremnitzer of Hampshire, Il, and Amber Szotkiewicz of Queen Creek, AZ, David W. Hill of Bronx, NY. He was survived by his longtime loving companion, Jannette Matteo of Boothwyn, Pa. He was the brother of Diana Decker of Wilmiongton, De, Marcia Vastine of Fredericksburg, Va, Nancy Wilkerson of Indianapolis, In, and Melissa Patro of Stanton, De. He was also survived by his former wife and close friend, Winnie Hill of Claymont, De. Grandfather of 4. Funeral service will be held Friday 10 am at St. Rose of Lima, Eddystone, Pa.
