David E. Robinson October 17, 1945 - January 30, 2009

David E. Robinson, age 63, died Jan. 30, 2009 at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pa. Born in Upland, Pa., David was a resident of Chester for 40 years. Life long resident of Delaware County, Pa. Graduate of Sun Valley High School in Aston, Pa. in 1963. Employed with Sun Ship and Dry Dock, as a pipe fitter for 20 years, also supervisor and union official and shop steward at Sun Ship. Veteran of the U.S.Army who served during Vietnam. Member of American Legion Post 926. Founder and commissioner of Patriot Pool League. Son of the late Hess and Elizabeth Robinson. Survived by his wife of 40 years Sherry Bresset Robinson of Chester, Pa. Father of Kelley and Kandy Robinson of Landenberg, Pa. Brother of Tom Robinson of Clifton, Pa., Danny Robinson of Aston, Pa., Joan St. Thomas of Hesperia, Cal., Betsy DeLauder of Kenton, Delaware, Andrea Stevenson of Exton, Pa., Vicki Robinson Miller of Aston, Pa.
