Delbert “Del” H. Morgan, 77, passed away September 29, 2012 at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media, Pa. Born in Bloomsburg, Pa, he was a long time resident of Brookhaven, Pa. He was a graduate from Nether Providence High School, class of 1953. He worked for General Chemical as a plant operator for 27 years before his retirement in 1995. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Concordville, Pa, and Wallingford Presbyterian Church. He loved traveling with his wife all across the US and going out to eat, especially to his favorite places Tom Jones, Hennessys, and Applebees. He had a lot of fun going to his grandkids sporting events and just spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his parents Florence and James Morgan and his brother Jim Morgan.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years Rhoda Morgan; his children James (Connie) Mullen, Don (Alison) Morgan, and Karen (Gil) Muhl; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
Funeral service will be Wednesday 11am at the Wallingford Presbyterian Church, 110 E. Brookhaven Rd., Wallingford, Pa, 19086. Visitation Tuesday evening 7-9 at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015 and also Wednesday morning 10:30-11am at the church. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston, Pa. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wallingford Presbyterian Church.
