Donna Gonsalves, 59, passed away February 28, 2017 at her home. Born in Chester she has been a resident of Brookhaven, PA, for the last 23 years. She previously spent time in Media, PA, as well as Salt Lake City, Utah where she went to college. She was a graduate of Sun Valley High School. For over ten years she worked for National Elevator Industry Benefit Plan in the medical claims department. Donna was an active member of Second Baptist Church, volunteered for the Habitat for Humanity, and loved to crochet and macramé. Above all, she loved to spend time with her family and was a very proud and doting grandmother. Her three grandchildren were her pride & joy. She was predeceased by her father Emanuel Goodson. Donna is survived by her fiancé Mark Singh; her mother Joan Overall; her step mother Annette Goodson; her daughter Terri Couser; her sisters Diane Chapline and Debby Shanks; and her 3 grandchildren Rendell Jackson, Jr., Devon Couser, and Blake Couser.
Memorial service will take place Saturday March 11, 2017 11am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Saturday 10-11am at the funeral home. Service will start at 11am. Friends & family are invited to fellowship & enjoy refreshments directly following the service at: Hilltop Condos Clubhouse 5200 Hilltop Drive, Brookhaven, PA 19082. The family respectfully requests that no one wears BLACK to the service.
