Dorothea Geraldine Thomas, 82,
passed away December 26, 2009 at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pa. Born in Hershey, Pa,
she has been a lifelong resident of Delaware County, residing in Brookhaven, Pa, for the past 54 years and previously living in Parkside, Pa. She graduated from Nether Providence High School.
She worked for Shoosters Restaurant in Chester, Pa. She also worked in the finishing department for Scott Paper.
She was a devoted Phillies fan.
She was the wife of the late Joseph L. Thomas for 42 years before he passed in 1994.
She was the daughter of the late Paul and Geraldine Everett.
She is the mother of Joseph Michael Thomas of Chester Heights, Pa, Cindy Fernando of Boothwyn, Pa, Sharon Brennan of Aston, Pa, and Denise McCullough of Wilmington, De. She was the sister of Caroline Hunt of Naples, Fl, and the late Robert and Paul Everett. She is the grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 1.
Funeral service 10:30am Saturday January 9, 2010 at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015.
Visitation 9-10:30am Saturday Jan. 9, 2010 at the funeral home.
Interment Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, Pa.
