Dorothy “Dot” Kammerer June 24, 1921 - February 15, 2015

Dorothy “Aunt Dot” L. Kammerer, 93, passed away February 15, 2015 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center, Lima, Pa. Born in Chester, Pa, she was a lifelong resident of Delaware County, Pa. She was a graduate of Nether Providence High School. She was an active member of Our Lady of Charity Church and enjoyed being a member of the Charitians. Dot was an extremely loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph who passed away in 1999 after 49 years of marriage; her parents Samuel and Dorothy Bateman; and her brothers Edward and Samuel Bateman.

She is survived by her children Jody Kammerer (Charlene), Kevin Kammerer (Mary Ann), Nancy Kitzinger (Frank), and Judith DiMaio (Frank); 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral mass Saturday 10:30am at Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Saturday 9:30-10:30 at the church. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston, Pa.
