Elsie S. Thomas, 90, passed away August 2, 2016 at The Belvedere Nursing Home. She has been a resident of Brookhaven, Pa, for the past 61 years. She really enjoyed sewing and her time as a figure skating coach. She was an avid swimmer and was a charter member of the Brookhaven Swim Club. Elsie was predeceased by her parents Ruth and Barney Bolt; her beloved husband Charles Thomas; her son Matthew Thomas; and her granddaughter Dana Kikut.
She is survived by her children Michael (Monica) Thomas, Carol Kikut, and Patricia (Jim) Griffith; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral mass Saturday 10:30am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Saturday 9:30-10:30am at the church. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa, 19064. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org (225 N.
