Ethel Marie Rhine, 85,

passed away January 15, 2010 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center, Middletown Twp.

Born in Chester County, Pa

She was currently residing in Middletown Twp. She previously lived in Luthern Knolls, Boothwyn, Pa, for eight years and in the Garden City section of Wallingford, Pa, for 40 years.

She was a waitress at Howard Johnsons in Media, Pa, and the Kmart restaurant in Brookhaven, Pa. She was also a nurse’s aid for Dr. Spitz in Media, Pa.

She loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was the wife of the late George L. Rhine, mother of the late George Rhine, and sister of the late Doris Collier.

She was the loving mother of Robert (Donna) Rhine of Bethany Beach, De. James (Anna) Rhine of Ridley Park, Pa, Richard (Josephine) Rhine of Wallingford, Pa,and Paula (Donald) Powell of the Villages in Florida.

She was the sister of Charles MacIntyre of Westtown, Pa, Richard MacIntyre of Indiana, and Herbert MacIntyre of Downingtown, Pa. She was the grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 4.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday 11 am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015.

Visitation Wednesday 10-11am at the funeral home.

Interment Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, Pa.
