Granville B. Murray Jr., 73,
passed away November 28, 2008 at Taylor Hospital, Ridley Park, Pa.
Born in Chester, Pa, he has been a
resident of Brookhaven, Pa for the past 49 years and has been a life long resident of Delaware County. He graduated from P.M.C. Prep School, Chester, Pa. He was a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He belonged to the Local #12 Brick Layers Union.
He is survived by his loving wife Eleanor Townsend Murray of 53 years, Brookhaven, Pa.
He was the devoted father of John Murray of Ohio and Patricia Murray of Aston, Pa. He was the
brother of David Murray of Kinzer, Pa, Richard Murray of West Chester, Pa, and James Murray of Aston, Pa.
Funeral service will take place Tuesday 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Charity Church 239 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa. Interment St. Thomas Apostle Cemetery, Chester Heights, Pa. Friends may call Tuesday 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Donations to the Our Lady of Charity Memorial Fund.
