Hedwig M. “Honey” Grab (nee Skulski), 82, passed away peacefully at her home July 8, 2014. Born in Chester, Pa, she was a long time resident of Wallingford, Pa, before moving to Brookhaven 5 years ago. She attended Chester High School and was an Audio Visual Assistant at the library in Widener University. Honey was a lifelong member of St. Johns Chrysostom, Wallingford, Pa. She belonged to many social dance groups and was an artist who enjoyed making flower and wreath arrangements. Above all else she cherished time spent with her family and she was a devoted grandmother and mother. Honey was predeceased by her husband of 25 years before his passing Christian Grab; her parents Catherine and John Skulski; and 11 siblings.
She is survived by her children Robert Grab, Stephen (Laurie) Grab, Kathleen (Mike) Evans; her sister Catherine Waryga; long time companion Ed Dougherty; her grandchildren Chris, Carrie, Sean, Stash, Charlie, and Georgia; and 4 great granddaughters.
Funeral service Saturday 10am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Saturday 9-10am at the funeral home. Interment Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Linwood, Pa.
