Helena B Fenimore
Helena B. Fenimore age 84 of Brookhaven, pa. died at her home on July 1, 2005. She was homemaker who enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, baking, cooking and taking care of her family. Mrs. Fenimore enjoyed traveling with her husband and one of her proudest moment was kissing the Blarney Stone. Mrs fenimore had published recipes in the Catholic Golden Agers Cookbook. During World War II she was employed at Congoleum in Trainer, Pa. Graduate of Holy Savior Elementary School in Linwood and attended Notre Dame School for Catholic Girls in Moylan, Rose Valley, Pa. Prior to moving to Brookhaven she was formerly a longtime resident of Chester, Pa. She was a member of the Eyre Park Civic Association. When living in Chester, Mrs. Fenimore was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church where she was very active and a member of Sodality. She was also the neighborhood chairwomen for girl scouts, assistant leader for troop 103 and a den mother. additionally, Mrs. Fenimore and her husband Bill were involved in Boy Scouts. Born in Linwood, Pa. Mrs. Fenimore was the daughter of the late Aaron J. Clara E. Palmer. Mrs. Fenimore was the widow of the bronze star recipient William “Bill” N. Fenimore, Jr. her husband of 47 years, and predeceased by grandson Joseph N. Fenimore. She was a long time member of Our lady of Charity Church in Brookhaven, Pa. She is survived by Sons William Fenimore of Farmington, Utah,Leonard Fenimore of Fort Walton beach, Florida, Laurence Fenimore of Altoona, Florida,Daughter Helena (Patti) Klimas of Gilbertsville, Pa. 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren. Funeral service Sat. 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Charity Church 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa. 19015 Interment Immaculate Heart Cemetery, Linwood, pa. friends may call Sat 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church.
