Henry A. Tenaglio Sr.
Henry A. Tenaglio Sr., 91, passed away November 1, 2014 at his home in West Chester, Pa. Born in Philadelphia, Pa, he was a long time resident of Havertown, Pa, before moving to West Chester with his daughter 3 years ago. He was a graduate of Overbrook High School, class of 1941. He was a supervisor for Railway Express before his retirement. He also worked for The Bulletin Newspaper and The Philadelphia Inquirer as a delivery driver. Henry was a faithful member to St. Pius X Church in Broomall, Pa, where he sang in the choir and was the treasurer of the Respect Life Committee for over 30 years. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Above all else he was an extremely loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Henry was predeceased by his beloved wife of 64 years Mary A. Tenaglio; his parents Antonette and Consiglio Tenaglio; son James Tenaglio; siblings Richard, Robert, Helen, and Jeanette Tenaglio.
His is survived by his sons Francis X., Henry Jr., Robert, and John Tenaglio; daughters Mary Anne Wilkie, Jeanne Marie Panichelli, and Sharon Elizabeth Eubank; 18 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral service Friday 11am at St. Pius X, 220 Lawrence Rd., Broomall, Pa, 19008. Visitation Friday 9am-11am at the church. Burial SS Peter and Paul, Springfield, Pa. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Pius X Respect Life Committee, 220 Lawrence Rd., Broomall, Pa, 19008.
