Jessie Firlein Lodge, 88, passed away March 3, 2006 at her home in Lincoln, DE. Before moving to Lincoln, DE she resided in Sunrise, Florida for 13 years and prior to that resided in Woodlyn, Pa. She graduated from Nether Providence High School and was employed by the Inglenook restaurant in Swarthmore, Pa. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Milford, DE, Rebecka Circle Calvary United Methodist Church,Milford, Del. a past member of Old Union United MethodistChurch,Wallingford, Pa., Plantation United Methodist Church in Sunrise, Fl, St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Woodlyn, Pa.,former Girl Scout Leader of Troop #205 in Woodlyn, Pa. Daughter of the late Frederick and Annie Lodge. Wife of 65 years to the late Charles H. Lodge. Mother of Charles H. Lodge Jr. and Mary L. McGinn of Slaughter Beach, DE. Sister of the late Frederick Lodge, Anna Platt, Jemimah Bledsoe, Frank Lodge, and Edward Lodge. Grandmother of 6 and Great-grandmother of 8. Funeral service will be held 12 pm noon on Wednesday at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Friends may call Wed. 11 am- 12 pm at the funeral home. Interment Old Union United Methodist Church Cemetery, Wallingford, Pa.
