John Haldeman September 20, 1921 - March 21, 2005

John Haldeman, age 83, died March 21, 2005 at Fair Acres, Middletown Township, PA. He was a resident of Brookhaven, PA, for the past 52 years. He was a former resident of Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from Brown Prep High School of Philadelphia, PA and attended Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. He was formerly employed as a draftsman by ITT Conoflow and Shramm, and a groundskeeper for the Brookhaven Borough and Penn Delco School District. He was a member of the Delco Field and Stream. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, WWII. John thoroghly enjoyed discussing American history and politics. He was predeceased by wife, Catherine Martin Haldeman and parents, Guy K. and Ellen Ann Haldeman. He was survived by sons, John K. Haldeman of Newark, DE, Samuel (Tootie) Haldeman of Orlando, FL, and daughter, Rebecca (Becky)Haldeman Archacki of Brookhaven. Also survived by brother, Henry Haldeman of Landsdale, PA. He had eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Thursday, 2:00 PM at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Rd., Brookhaven, PA, 19015. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA. Friends may call Thursday from 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Donations to the charity of your choice.
