John “Jack” Carman
John “Jack” Carman, 81, passed away August 10, 2012 at his home. Born in Chester, Pa, he has been a resident of Brookhaven, Pa, for the past 54 years. He worked at Boeing as an Electrician for 29 years before his retirement. He was a life time member of the American Legion Post 926 in Aston. He loved to read and watch Westerns and was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. He was a Korean War veteran of the United States Navy where he served on the USS Intrepid. He was predeceased by his parents Emma and John Carman.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Betty Carman; his children John (Lorna) Carman Jr. and Janice Moran; his siblings William Carman, Joan Bakley, Betty Lotman, and Marianne Liddicoat; grandchildren TJ (Kayla) DeHaven and Kacey Carman; great grandchild Chaos.
Funeral service Thursday 12 noon at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Thursday 11-12 at the funeral home. Interment Chester Rural Cemetery, Chester, Pa.
