It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jon R. Grant Jr, 50, of Brookhaven PA, who passed away peacefully on January 5th, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Jon was born in Upland, PA to Jon and Beverly Grant. He graduated from Sun Valley High School in 1992 and went on to be an electrician for Charles H. Macdonald for the past 30 years. He was a member of IBEW Local 654.

Jon is survived by his parents Jon R. Grant Sr. and Beverly Grant (Morgan). His brothers Robert, Craig (Jamie) Grant. His beloved children Katlyn (Andy) Hill, Shawn (Tabitha) Grant, Megan Grant, Avery Grant and Ethan Grant. Seven grandchildren: Aubreigh, Lacie, Graham, Carson, Eve, Levi, & Ryder. Nephew and niece: Cayden & Emma, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins and his wife, Courtney.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, January 11th, 2025, from 9:00am-11:00am at Bateman-Allen Funeral home, 4220 Edgmont Avenue, Brookhaven PA 19015. Funeral Services are to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for his two minor children. A trust is currently being set up. In the interim, contributions may be made payable to Beverly Grant via check or Venmo: @Beverly-Grant-35.
