Judith A. DiMaio January 3, 1953 - May 7, 2016

Judith A. DiMaio, 63, passed away May 7, 2016 at Taylor Hospice, Ridley Park, Pa. Born in Chester, Pa, she grew up in Parkside and lived in Aston, Pa, for the last 40 years. She was a graduate of Sun Valley High School, class of 1971. She received her Bachelors and Masters degrees through West Chester University. Judy was a special education teacher at Elwyn and Glenwood Elementary and ended her career as a reading specialist at Indian Lane Elementary. She had a genuine love of life and people. Her family was everything and she absolutely adored her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Dorothy Kammerer.

Judy is survived by her beloved husband Frank DiMaio of 43 years; her son Frank (Terri) DiMaio; daughter Patti (Nathan) Reed; her brothers Jody and Kevin Kammerer; her sister Nancy (Frank) Kitzinger; and her two grandchildren Gillian and Chase Reed.

Funeral service Thursday 11am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Thursday 9-11am at the funeral home. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston, Pa.
