Kathleen “Bepsi” M. Acton, 65, passed away July 3, 2024, at the University of Pennsylvania. Born in Upland and raised in Brookhaven/Parkside, PA, she was a graduate of Sun Valley High School, class of ’76. She also attended Philadelphia Community College and graduated with honors as a dental hygienist. Most recently, she was a resident of Swedesboro, NJ.
She loved to watch her daughter, Ashley, play soccer. She was the epitome of a “soccer mom”. She was an avid Eagles, Notre Dame, Penn State, and Villanova fan. She was known for her generous spirit. She loved to travel to the shore and adored her dogs.
She was predeceased by her parents George and Stella (nee Przegon) Acton.
She is survived by her beloved daughter Ashley Rose Nordsiek (Dr. Michael Nordsiek); her siblings George B. Acton, Nancy Rakus (Louis), Patricia Merichko (Thomas); many nieces and nephews; and her beloved hound Sherlock.
All funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Salem County Humane Society, North Game Creek Road, PO Box 214, Penns Grove, NJ, 08069-0214.
