Kathryn M. Orr July 21, 1960 - September 25, 2023

Kathryn M. Orr, 63, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2023, at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Chester, PA, she has been a lifelong resident of Delaware County, mainly residing in Parkside and Brookhaven. She was a graduate of Sun Valley High School, class of 1978 and pursued a career in the hospitality industry.
Kathy loved gardening and plants, bird watching, cooking, traveling, and listening to music, especially The Ramones, John Prine, Elton John and Willie Nelson. She regularly shared puns and a good laugh. Above everything else, Kathy loved spending time with her family, especially her 2 beloved grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents George and Eleanor Diggins.
Kathy is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years John Orr; her loving children Wayne Guyer, Jr. (Becky) and Tanya Keenan (David); her grandchildren Oliver and Finley; and her 4 siblings.
All funeral services will take place privately. Arrangements by the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, Brookhaven, PA.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Kathy’s name to The American Cancer Society.

    John and family I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I am ever so grateful to have known and called Kathy my friend. She was a true warrior, a faithful friend and a grateful mother, wife and grandmother. My God keep you.

I remember hey smile and sense of humor and caring personality as we were band parents together, I hope in time your love and memories help to heal some of the loss.     Kathy I loved you so much and I hope I was as good of a friend to you as you were to me. I doubt I would be the person i am today if you were not there at that exact moment I met you as we trudged the world of happy destiny together
