January 1, 2022 at 7:53 amGinny, Anthony & Behr family, please except my condolences as Sonny`s cousin. Sonny always played a big part of everyone`s life, he had a knack for being the center of attention. Sonny`s humor was very contagious, he always looked on the bright side of life!
He was just a fun Guy always, if you were having a party and Sonny was there! It was going to be a good party. I can remember growing up, Sonny was one of older cousins in the DiAmicis`s family, he always stuck out, you couldn’t go to long without a Sonny Behr hug. I can remember Sonny after he returned home from Vietnam, he was Ralphs Barber`s best hairdresser. Everyone wanted Sonny to cut their hair back then. Once people started growing longer hair, i can still hear him saying, time to find a new living!
Sonny always played the accordion that i can remember, and he was good! really good.
Everyone knows Sonny from the Sonny Trio Band, all over southeast Pennsylvania and Delaware and South Jersey. People for decades listened and danced to his Band. He had a long career as an entertainer he never stopped, he was a natural entertainer; I am so glad he was a big part of my family and yours!
