Marie F. Sernyak December 3, 1932 - June 17, 2012

Marie F. Sernyak, 79, passed away June 17, 2012 at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pa. Born in Philadelphia, Pa, she has been a long time resident of Brookhaven, Pa. She graduated from West Catholic High School, class of 1950. She was a manager of Core States Bank (new Wells Fargo) for 30 years before her retirement. She was a member of Our Lady Senior Club and the Swarthmore Players Club. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 44 years William J. Sernyak; her parents Marie and George Updyke; her sister Georgeanne Law. She is survived by her daughters Debi (Brian) M. Sutherland and Diana (Gary) F. Breeser and her grandchildren Jessica, Kyle, William, Zachary, Ryan, and Christa. Funeral Mass Thursday 1pm at Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Thursday 12-1pm at the church. Interment SS Peter and Paul, Springfield, Pa.
