Marie R. Haines, 86, passed away January 1, 2011 at Riddle Hospital, Media, Pa.
She resided in Middletown Twp. since 1984 and was a former resident of Brookhaven, Pa. She graduated from Chester High School.
She worked for Betty’s Children Shop, BJ Price, and Sacred Heart Hospital.
She was a very active member in Brookhaven Baptist Church and loved Sea Isle City. She was extremely proud of her grandchildren and loved nothing more than having her family all together.
She was predeceased by her parents Marie Ellen Casey Price and Benjamin James Price and her brother Benjamin James Price.
She was the beloved wife of John Alfred Haines for the last 67 years.
She was the loving mother of Richard Eugene (Patricia) Haines of Upper Chichester, William Morris Haines of Aston, pa, Jacqueline Ann Haines Carhart of Millsboro, De, Kathryn Ellen Haines Hinde of Media, Pa, Jane Marie (Robert) Haines Kulp of Phoenixville, Pa.
She was the sister of John Price of Aston, Pa, Delphos Price of Lewes, De, Richard Price of Bonita Springs, Fl, Rosalie Price Malazia of Jonesboro, GA, Louise Price Hilditch of Glen Mills, Pa.
She was the grandmother of 9, great grandmother of 8, and great great grandmother of 2.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday 2pm at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015.
Visitation Wednesday 12-2pm at the funeral home.
Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston, Pa.
