Mary (Hinds) Marriott, Native of England

1926-2016

Mary was educated in Nottingham, England and worked as a secretary until her marriage to husband, Fred, and joined him in this country in 1952. She resided in Nether Providence until moving to Media in 1970. She was employed as a secretary to W.C. Hannum, Inc. Painting and Decorating for many years, and also for Suburban Decorators Inc.

Mrs. Marriott was a member of the former Providence Ave. United Methodist Church for 41 years and a present member of Christ United Methodist Church in Brookhaven, Pa.

She was the youngest daughter of the late George T. And Clara Hinds and the sister of the late Marjorie Brickles.

She enjoyed travelling and was an avid ice hockey fan of the Nottingham Panthers (England) and the Philadelphia Flyers.

She is survived by one nephew in England and many great nieces and nephews.

Interment private.
