Michael L. Buonopane, Sr., 78, was called to be with the Lord his Savior on February 7, 2015. He was born and raised in Malden, Mass and graduated from Malden High School. Michael was a Pennsylvania State Constable for 30 plus years. He was a US Army Veteran serving as a paratrooper in the 82nd airborne. During which time was a member of the US Army Boxing team. He was an avid dog lover and was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed. He is predeceased by his wife, the love of his life, Barbara (nee Farrer).
He is survived by his loving children Michael L. Buonopane Jr., Christoper Buonopane, James Buonopane, Cindy Viola, and Victoria Rensel; his siblings Jackie Buonopane and Suzanne Greenquist; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
His funeral service will be held Thursday 11am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa. Visitation Wednesday evening 6-9pm and also Thursday 10-11am at the funeral home. Burial SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa.
